Sebastian Kulczyk

Chairman of the Supervisory Board

International investor,  a representative of the fourth generation of a family of Polish entrepreneurs, actively involved in building and developing the new technologies sector for two decades. Owner of Kulczyk Investments – an international investment house that builds the value of companies of global potential using its own capital and skills and adhering to the highest investment and business management standards. The founder of Manta Ray vc  – a venture capital fund that provides support on an international scale for the top business talents concerned with developing ground-breaking technologies in the education system, biotech, health, infrastructure, and other areas. Graduate of the Faculty of Law at the Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań and at the London School of Economics.

Marek Kośnik

Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board

Graduated from the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw and obtained MBA degree at Harvard Business School. Marek brings extensive experience in developing company strategies, managing investments, driving restructuring efforts, and leading digital transformations. He has been a member of Ciech’s Supervisory Board since January 2019, and the Deputy Chairman of Ciech’s Supervisory Board since May 2020. He has held positions at renowned firms like Bain & Company, Terra Firma Capital Partners, and McKinsey & Company.

Hugues Delcourt

Hugues studied at the HEC School of Management and holds an MBA from INSEAD. He is an experienced banker, and former CEO of Banque Internationale à Luxembourg and ABN Amro. Hugues has been active in banking for thirty years, gaining experience in ten different countries in Asia and Europe, and is an advisor and an operating partner for PE funds and family offices.

Hans Vanoorbeek

Hans studied for a masters in law at the University of Leuven and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. He has a very strong academic background, but also more than 25 years of experience as a private equity investor. He has been an Investment Director and Member of the Investment Committees of various funds and family offices. He is an assistant professor and lectures at INSEAD and Vlerick Business School.

Wolfgang M. Fritz

Wolfgang is an attorney-at-law in Austria with more than 20 years of professional experience, and is a member of a number of supervisory boards and trust funds. Wolfgang has vast experience in founding companies and creating legal structures, and advising on corporate law, data protection law, sports law, and foundation and commercial law.

Management

Dawid Jakubowicz

President of the Management

A financial executive with international operational experience in driving enterprise value creation across the chemical, mining, energy, automotive, and technology sectors.

Since 2010, he has been with Kulczyk Investments, where he is responsible for overseeing the global investment portfolio. From 2018 to 2023, he served as President of the Management Board of CIECH (now Qemetica), an international chemical group operating across six business lines. During his tenure, the company successfully executed a growth strategy focused on operational excellence and a performance, and, team-oriented organizational culture, delivering record financial results in 2022 and a significant increase in cash flow generation.

He began his professional career at KPMG Audyt, where he was involved in auditing standalone and consolidated financial statements for companies across multiple industries.

A certified statutory auditor (listed with the Polish Chamber of Statutory Auditors since 2014). He completed the Leadership Development Program (PLD) at Harvard Business School and the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford University. He holds an MBA from Georgia State University and the Poznań University of Economics and Business, where he also graduated from the Faculty of Economics.

Jarosław Romanowski

CFO, Board Member at Kulczyk Investments SA

A senior executive with nearly 30 years of experience managing international organizations across the natural resources, industrial and investment sectors.
Has an extensive expertise in corporate finance, international trade, project financing, and the development and execution of strategic growth initiatives.

Since June 2023, he has served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Member of the Management Board of Kulczyk Investments S.A.

From 2020 to 2023, he served as Vice President of the Management Board for Finance at CIECH S.A. (now Qemetica), an international chemical group with a strong presence in global markets.

In 2003–2006 and again in 2017–2020, he held the position of Vice President of the Management Board for Finance at Tele-Fonika Kable S.A. He also served as Chief Executive Officer of JDR Cable Systems Ltd. in the United Kingdom.

During his 17-year tenure with KGHM Polska Miedź S.A., one of the world’s leading mining and metals companies, he held a number of senior management positions, culminating in his appointment as First Vice President of the Management Board for Finance.

He holds a degree in International Trade from the Poznań University of Economics and Business and has completed several executive education programmes in international finance, risk management and asset valuation, including the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Krzysztof Andrzejewski

Chief Development Officer (CDO), Management Board Member

A senior executive with over 20 years of experience in finance, risk management, and international trade.

He began his career at PwC (Poland and the United States) and subsequently held senior leadership roles in the FMCG and retail sectors.

He has served as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Operating Officer in international organizations, including SABMiller, Kompania Piwowarska, Ursus Breweries, and Żabka. He currently serves as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Studenac Market, a portfolio company of Enterprise Investors, where he supports its continued growth and business scaling.

He is a graduate of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and has completed executive education programs at Saïd Business School, Wharton School, Harvard Business School, Stanford University, and MIT Sloan School of Management. From 2003 to 2005, he was a scholarship recipient of the “Future of Europe” program. Since 2013, he has also been a lecturer in risk management at the Poznań University of Economics and Business.
